Undergraduate admissions for Electrical and Computer Engineering is handled by UBC Student Services Admissions. Students who wish to transfer between departments within the Faculty of Applied Science should contact Applied Science Engineering Student Services.
UBC Awards and Financial Aid
NSERC Research Awards
ECE is pleased to announce NSERC support for Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRAs). The goals are:
- To stimulate interest in natural sciences and engineering
- To provide career related work experience for the award recipient and/or student
- To provide students with financial support
These awards support UBC's strategic plan and will give UBC the opportunity to actively engage undergraduate students in research. NSERC encourages a participation rate of 50% for female students. To encourage aboriginal students to pursue graduate studies and research careers in the natural sciences and engineering, awards that are made out to aboriginal students are in addition to UBC's quota of awards.

Students have access to state-of-the-art equipment, instructors, and facilities.
