Our group focuses on the design and testing of Very-Large Scale Integrated Circuits. We perform research on all aspects of integrated circuit design, such as analog and digital, design for testability and debugging, and programmable logic design. We are also studying the computer-aided design tools that make this all possible.
Today, very-large scale integrated circuits are often designed using the System-on-Chip (SoC) design methodology. In order to give students an extensive educational experience, we focus on areas such as analog and mixed signal design, SoC design and testing, and programmable logic. Students largely work in a hands-on educational environment in order to fully understand the complexities surrounding circuit design.
More information on the SoC group can be found on their website.
