Sessional Lecturer – Term Appointment
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia is looking for a part-time sessional lecturer to teach the following course:
Course: ELEC 204 Linear Circuits (4 credits)
Dates: 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026
This position offers a base salary of $11,500 for the term, which may be increased commensurate with experience.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline, and demonstrated expertise in circuit analysis and electronic systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in core areas of electrical engineering, as well as those with experience teaching undergraduate-level courses or supporting student learning in a post-secondary setting.

Dates: 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026
This position offers a base salary of $8,625.00 for the term, which may be increased commensurate with experience.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a closely related discipline, and demonstrated expertise in micro- and nanoscale systems applied to biological contexts. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in areas such as biosensors, microfluidic systems, or bio-integrated devices, as well as those with experience teaching undergraduate-level courses or supporting student learning in a post-secondary setting.
