Vancouver Summer Program

Welcome to the UBC Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Vancouver Summer Program!

The UBC Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) is a four week academic program offered at UBC Vancouver for cohorts of international students to study at UBC. Students in the VSP program get the chance to enhance their education, explore Vancouver, and experience Canadian culture.


Explore a wide range of courses with UBC ECE including topics ranging from Engineering the Sound of Music to Principles of Robust and Secure Software Development.

Each package includes 2 courses totalling 39 hours of instructional time per course. Join dynamic classes led by world class UBC instructors and broaden your understanding by delving into globally important topics.


The UBC Point Grey Campus (Vancouver) is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) People.

The UBC Vancouver campus boasts stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby North Shore mountains. UBC Vancouver blends over 400 hectares of forest lands and the convenience of urban living.
