In ECE there are several ways graduate students can connect with the ECE Student Services team to ask questions and get advice about their programs!
Advising via Email
Graduate students can email our student services team at help@ece.ubc.ca for any of their questions or concerns, where one of our ECE staff members will be happy to assist you!
Drop-in Graduate Advising Hours
Each week we have in person and virtual drop in advising opportunities. All ECE graduate students are welcome to stop by during our offered times to ask their questions. All drop in advising times and locations are posted on our ECE Calendar.
If choosing virtual advising, when you enter the zoom chat, you will be placed in a waiting room in the order you have joined. During busy periods, we thank you for your patience and we will add you to the advising room as soon as we can!
ECE Administration Office
ECE staff are also available to receive walk-in questions on weekdays from 8:30-4:30 on the 5th floor of the Fred Kaiser Building, room KAIS 5500.
For students that prefer to receive one on one support from a student services staff member, we recommend that students email in their questions or attend a scheduled drop-in advising session. Students can also request to set up a one-on-one appointment with one of our advisors by emailing help@ece.ubc.ca.
