Mirza Saquib Sarwar completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UBC in 2019. His research was in soft sensors and their applications in robotic manipulation. After his PhD, he worked at Honda Research Institute in California where his work was at the intersection of robotic sensors and machine learning. He is currently a Senior Scientist in the Artificial Intelligence team at lululemon in Vancouver.
