Christine Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC with an emphasis on Electrical Power Systems. Prior to joining UBC, she earned her BASc degree in Engineering Science (Electrical Option) from the University of Toronto in 2009. She then received her MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and 2014, respectively.
