UBC students take on challenges from Vancouver companies

On April 7th, please join electrical and computer engineering students in celebrating the culmination of a year of hard work and creativity. This event marks the finale of the Capstone Design Course which gives  teams of 4th year students the chance to work directly with industry, applying their knowledge and innovation to design, build and test solutions for their clients. The Capstone Design Celebration is a great way to meet our students and see how they solve real-world problems.

Web/mobile applications, power systems, biomedical devices, robotics and communication systems are a few of the technologies showcased each year by the students.  The opportunity to work with the 4th year engineering teams attracted over 100 proposals from start-ups, utilities, NGOs and small & large business. Science World, Zodiac Aerospace and the Disabled Sailing Association of BC are just a few of the organizations the students have worked with this year.
