UBC researchers receive first and second place paper awards at IPCAI

At the International Conference on Information Processing in Computer-Assisted Interventions (IPCAI), researchers from ECE’s Robotics and Control Lab received two best paper awards. At this year’s conference, members of the lab focused on their work in augmenting 3D ultrasound images and methods of using 3D ultrasound to guide robotic assisted surgery.
