Course Registration Reminder for Current/Incoming Graduate Students:
If you are not able to register for a course because of unmet restrictions or pre-requisites, you will need to obtain instructor approval to register. Please complete the ‘Course Add’ section of the following course registration form and submit to help@ece.ubc.ca (or to your own department if you are not an ECE student) once the instructor has signed: https://www.grad.ubc.ca/forms/registration-change-registration-form
UBC’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has large, world-class graduate programs, with currently over 400 graduate students registered. The contributions our graduate students and alumni make are vital to the growth of the Department and to UBC as a whole.
Our ECE Department offers the following Masters degrees: a research-based Masters of Applied Science (MASc), a course-based Masters of Engineering (MEng), and a Masters of Engineering Leadership in Dependable Software Systems (MEL DSS) which combines engineering and business coursework. Candidates looking to continue their education beyond the Masters level can apply for the Doctoral Program (PhD).
